What’s Included:
Virtual marketplace storefront, maintained by the seller
Article published about seller’s brand / featured on our social media channels
Sellers & their products are promoted on social channels
Seasonal press releases and email blasts are sent to our lists to inspire purchases
Product Requirements:
Our marketplace promotes original designs and handmade artisan wares. The seller must have a hand in the design process, if any portion of the product is manufactured elsewhere.
No buy/sell, vintage, or resale items will be permitted.
No CBD products will be permitted per Shopify regulations.
Fees:
Sales Commission: Local Undercover will retain 15% of all sales made through our site. This fee includes credit card and processing fees, so the remaining 85% will be yours.
Taxes: Local Undercover will be facilitating and filing sales tax for all items sold on our marketplace. Each seller is not required to file sales tax on any sales made on our marketplace.
Shipping: Sellers shall ship purchased items within (4) business days of receipt of order.
Free Shipping will be provided for customers on all orders (United States based customers only). We do this so that customers can shop many vendors at once without incurring shipping fees from each. Please feel free to account for possible shipping charges into your overall price. Creating special product bundles can help offset the cost of offering free shipping.
If for any reason artisan is unable to ship item(s), artisan will reimburse Local Undercover for any associated fees with refunding the customer.
If you have custom work and will not be able to ship within (4) business days, please note that in your product details so that the customer will know what kind of timeline to expect for delivery.
Payment: Sellers must register with Paypal to receive payment. Payments will be dispersed automatically upon order fulfillment for sellers who register Paypal as their payment method on our site.
