Glenn & Maribeth of Mediterranean Table
After many years in the gourmet food industry, we have finally fulfilled our desires to open a small boutique business. We carry fine artisan imported food items such as olive oils, balsamic, tomatoes, pesto, sauces and pasta all from Italy. We primarily carry products from farms or small businesses. We have a small retail store in our small village.
Let us know more about your business name - how did you come up with it?
We wanted a name that would make our customers recall a trip or maybe inspire them to travel to another country to try some delicious offerings available. So even if they can not go there, we can bring some of the amazing food items to them!
What is your signature style / item? How did it become so?
Infused olive oils such as roasted garlic or Amalfi lemon olive oil. These two products have been a consistent best seller as everyone loves these two flavors and what you can do with them is endless!
What makes your business unique to the industry?
We are a small business and therefore can offer great service and personal care such as what to cook with our food products.
What's been your biggest roadblock when it comes to business and how have you been able to overcome?
Being a small business, sometimes there are opportunities to sell your items in a larger scale. But doing so would compromise your time with family. We overcome that by remembering what is most important.
What is your favorite part of what you do?
Having the ability to be our own bosses ;)
What is your *must do* local activity?
Visit the 13 lakes located up here in NoCo. Particularly, in the Red Feather Lakes area.
